I’m Having a Meltdown

It started out sweet enough at Loblolly when the staff handed over this soft serve with a cute little face. But the second I was alone, the vibe completely shifted. Now he is actively avoiding eye contact, staring off to the side with attitude. I am not sure what why he looks so real all of a sudden. I think it’s the light and the reflections. It’s giving him a shiny surface. I’m impressed I was able to take this photo with my left hand, it’s usually worthless.

Too Pretty to Eat (Almost)

Look at these Beefy Purples and tell me they do not look like they belong in a high end art gallery instead of on my kitchen counter. The colors are so striking that I actually felt guilty setting them down on the chopping block. That noble feeling lasted for about four seconds before I grabbed the olive oil and flaky sea salt. Some produce is just too good to sit around looking pretty.
